A State Leader in Complex Behavioral Health Treatment
RBMCN was created to meet one of the most urgent and underserved needs in behavioral healthcare: treating individuals whose behaviors are considered too severe, too complex, or too high-risk for traditional programs.
Our mission is to deliver specialized, intensive, and clinically sophisticated treatment to children, adolescents, and adults with autism, developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and co-occurring mental health conditions , particularly those presenting with aggression, self-harm, sexualized behaviors, elopement, and system involvement.
We exist for the cases others decline.
Through structured environments, data-driven interventions, and expert clinical leadership, we stabilize high-risk behaviors, restore safety, and create sustainable pathways back to families and communities.
The Autism Behavioral Health Program at RBMCN was developed as a center of excellence for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental disabilities who exhibit severe, treatment-resistant behaviors.
We serve individuals who:
Our clinical model is built on three pillars:
Rapid assessment, structured programming, and proactive safety planning to reduce immediate behavioral risk.
Intensive, individualized interventions targeting communication, emotional regulation, adaptive functioning, and social competency.
Strategic transition planning to ensure long-term success in less restrictive environments.
We are not a temporary holding environment.
We are a treatment-driven, outcome-focused program designed to produce measurable behavioral change.
RBMCN builds upon nearly a decade of experience through DDCN, which has served individuals with high-acuity behavioral needs since 2015.
Over the years, we have:
This foundation has positioned us as a trusted provider for cases requiring advanced clinical capability and strong behavioral expertise.
RBMCN represents the next evolution of that work , formalizing and expanding a specialized behavioral health model built specifically for the most challenging cases in our region.
We believe that high-risk behavior is not a barrier to treatment , it is the reason treatment must be exceptional.
Our philosophy is grounded in five core principles:
Every behavior reflects a skill deficit, unmet need, or environmental influence that can be assessed and treated.
Without physical and psychological safety, growth cannot occur. Structured environments create the foundation for change.
Effective treatment requires rigorous assessment, measurable data, and highly trained professionals , not guesswork.
We track progress, adjust interventions, and hold ourselves accountable to meaningful results.
Even in the most severe cases, improvement is possible with the right structure, expertise, and consistency.
For too long, families and agencies have had limited options for individuals with severe behavioral challenges , often resulting in repeated hospitalizations, placement disruptions, or out-of-state transfers.
RBMCN is committed to changing that.
We are building regional capacity for high-acuity autism and behavioral health treatment, keeping individuals closer to their communities while delivering the level of care their complexity demands.
We are not simply a provider. We are a solution for the cases that require the highest level of expertise.
